Steve Furst Assumes Leadership of the Florida Feed Association
Steve Furst, of Land O' Lakes Purina Mills, LL, was elected President of the Florida Feed Association on July 12, 2012. Furst addressed the Board and said as an agricultural association of animal and poultry feed manufacturers, along with allied members, our goal in the coming years is to develop and utilize technology for more efficient production of meat, milk and eggs. Our end goal is to enable safe and affordable food for the growing world population. The U.S. must take a leadership role in addressing nutrition worldwide and our association is committed to assist at all levels of production and distribution
